Using SnapNDrag to Create an Animation with Quicktime Pro

Press "Selection" to use SnapNDrag's cross hairs to click and drag specific selections of open images.
-->This tool can be used to re-frame photos, re-crop, and create unexpected movement through animation (pans, zooms).

Press "Screen" to take a screen shot.

Press "Timed" to time the screen shot. You can alter the seconds before the shot is taken.

Set up a new folder to save each series of shots. SnapNDrag defaults to saving images as "screenshot_01" and a series of following consecutive numbers. MAKE SURE EACH SERIES HAS AN IDENTICAL FILE NAME FOLLOWED BY CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS and THAT ALL FILES ARE SAVED IN THE SAME FOLDER.

To rename the default filename prefix go under Preferences:Select "File Name" and change the filename prefix to whatever you want. You can also adjust the Counter digits.

This limits having to go to "save as" and re-typing the file name after each screen shot.

Opening an Image Sequence with Quicktime Pro

Import your digital camera still images using "File > Open Image Sequence."

QT Pro will create a sequence of individual still frames in the order your digital camera numbered them, or by the numbers in which they have been re-named and saved in folders.

The rate at which they play will be determined with the Frames Per Second setting when you export the web-compatible movie. (The higher the frame rate per second, the more rapid the images will appear animated)

If you want to change the order of the stills, about the only way to do this in QT Pro is to manually rename the files in the Finder by adding "001.jpg" to the end of the file name you want to be first, "002.jpg" to the end of the file name you want to be 2nd, etc.
